The South Caicos Regatta Committee is thrilled to announce the commencement of voting for the People's Choice Awards for Miss Teen Regatta and Miss Regatta.
The South Caicos Regatta celebrations are scheduled for May 25th to 28th, 2023, and this year's pageants look to be electrifying.
The contestants for Miss Teen Regatta are Adriauna Williams, Madelon Donatien, Faith Bowens, Amska J Antoine, and Monica Julien. Miss Regatta contestants are Ketchnaydine Thomas, Jennie Louis, Tinell N. Garland, and Nailah Grant. The voting for Miss Teen Regatta ends Wednesday, May 24th, at 10 pm, and voting for Miss Regatta ends Thursday, May 25th, at 10 pm. To vote for the contestants, individuals can go to the festival's Facebook page and like the contestants' pictures.
The Pageant Coordinator Lashanna Goldman expressed her excitement for this year's pageants. " We are proud to bring back the Costume Wear segment because it brings a spike in our Turks and Caicos culture. This year, we are making culture our main focus, and we look forward to seeing what the girls will bring to the stage."
Goldman also mentioned the Sports Wear segment for Miss Teen Regatta, stating, "For the first time ever, we will be introducing Sportswear to the stage for a Regatta pageant. We are excited to announce that the Sportswear was sponsored and made by a local! "
