Women in Sports Names Tanesia Gardiner Athlete Of the Month

Women in Sports, on Friday, presented budding high and long Jumper Tanesia Gardiner with its first ever Athlete of the Month Award.

The award is geared toward honouring female athletes across the Turks and Caicos Islands. Gardiner recently broke the Under 17 Female record in High Jump at the CARIFTA Trials held in May.

She will be representing the TCI at the 2021 NACAC U18 & U23 Championships, to be held in San Jose, Costa Rica between July 9 and 11.
