On Sunday, September 21st, 2025, the United States Coast Guard (USCG) reported a suspicious vessel headed towards Providenciales, carrying an estimated 70 to 100 persons.

The RT&CIPF remains grateful to our international partner, the USCG, and our local partners for their ongoing cooperation. This successful interception demonstrates that the layers of security in place are effective and that our defensive measures continue to strengthen against illegal migration.

The RT&CIPF reminds the public that illegal migration is extremely dangerous and places lives at significant risk. Those attempting these journeys face perilous conditions at sea. Failure to adhere to our laws will not be tolerated.

Anyone with information regarding illegal migration is strongly urged to contact the nearest police station, call 911, the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842, or provide information anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or via the Crime Stoppers P3 app.
