The Turks and Caicos Islands ranked fourth among countries for festive travel, while Providenciales is tenth among the world’s top ten festive season destinations. The rankings were revealed in Virtuoso’s latest travel trends report which was unveiled during the 38th annual Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas.

The report found that the festive travel season, which runs from late November through early January, is particularly strong among Virtuoso Travel Advisors, with bookings for 2026 up 65 percent and sales increasing by 56 percent.

“Being ranked among the world's top festive travel destinations by Virtuoso is another strong endorsement of the Turks and Caicos Islands' position as one of the premier luxury destinations in the world. While we're encouraged by this recognition, our focus remains on delivering exceptional visitor experiences, strengthening airlift, and ensuring tourism growth continues to create opportunities for our people. With additional flights coming online this autumn and strong demand already evident, we're looking forward to another successful festive season.”

The positive outlook for the festive season comes as the Turks and Caicos Islands prepares for increased airlift from October, with new and expanded services from key US and Canadian markets adding capacity during one of the destination’s busiest travel periods. United Airlines will launch new nonstop service from Denver to Providenciales, with BermudAir launching services from Fort Lauderdale, Belize, Raleigh/Durham, Boston, Baltimore/Washington DC, St Pete/Tampa, Toronto, Cayman Islands, Anguilla and Bermuda. Porter Airlines will add service from Toronto and Ottawa, further expanding access from important North American markets. This increased capacity positions the Turks and Caicos Islands to capitalise on the strong demand identified in the Virtuoso report.

Experience Turks and Caicos was represented at Virtuoso Travel Week by its US marketing agency, ABA Global. Experience Turks and Caicos sponsored breakfast, lunch and snacks in the Pinnacle Lounge, attracting some of Virtuoso’s top travel advisors and creating opportunities for meaningful conversations and quality engagement around the destination.

The team also held meetings with more than 100 travel advisors, strengthening relationships with key industry partners and keeping the Turks and Caicos Islands top of mind among the advisors who influence high-value travel decisions.

The Turks and Caicos Islands is a Virtuoso Preferred Destination with nine Virtuoso properties.
