A 55-year-old woman and two men, aged 18 and 21, have been apprehended by detectives from the Serious Crime Unit in connection with the shooting death of 24-year-old Jockeem Missick.
The arrests were made during a morning policing operation in Grand Turk on Saturday.
The two male suspects are facing murder charges, while the 55-year-old female has been arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit murder. The trio, all residents of Grand Turk, were taken into custody following the fatal incident that claimed the life of Jockeem Missick on February 9.
Reports indicate that the Police Control Room received a call regarding gunshots near the Parade Grounds in Grand Turk shortly after noon on February 9. Missick, a 24-year-old individual residing in Lower Breezy Brae, Grand Turk, succumbed to the gunshot wounds.
In connection with the ongoing investigation, authorities executed search warrants on two premises.
