Customs Department to Stage Auction Saturday March 25


The Customs Department will be conducting its 2023 auction at South Dock, Providenciales on Saturday, 25th March from 9:00 a.m.


The department states that items for auction can be viewed from 8:30 a.m. on the day of the auction.


Registration is required to bid in this live auction and can be done online before the sale at https://forms.office.com/r/VxVmE4cUnc or at www.customs.gov.tc Bidder registration closes on Friday, 24th March 2023 at 3:00 p.m.


Bidder Eligibility

The bidder, according to the Customs Department, must be at least 18 years of age and able to form legally binding contracts under applicable law.

The Customs Department said it reserves the right to add or remove items from the auction at any time without notice.


All Sales Are Final


In the meantime, the Customs Department stated that there will be no exchanges or refunds on auction items unless specifically noted, further stating that all items are to be sold "as is".

The Customs Department noted that every reasonable effort has been made to describe each item carefully. A full description of each item is posted on the department’s website.


An Auction Committee, which was put in place, has determined the values of the items being auctioned. There is no guarantee of any kind as to the correctness of description, genuineness, authenticity, condition, quality or fitness for any purpose, the Customs Department news release stated.


Payment Terms


“If you are a winning bidder, you agree to pay the full amount of your winning bid and any applicable shipping or delivery charges,” the news release further stated.
