As part of the Government’s coordinated effort to strengthen the nation’s overall level of preparedness through enhanced emergency planning and response, the Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies will be hosting a series of disaster-related training during the month of June.
These training workshops will ensure that our partners, stakeholders, as well as people from the community, gain the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to positively impact decision-making, operational readiness, effectiveness and efficiency, in the event the Turks and Caicos Islands are impacted by hazards and/or disasters.
