Grand Turk Rotaract Club Named District 7020 Club of the Year

The Rotaract Club of Grand Turk has been named Club of the Year for the 2025–2026 Rotaract Year in District 7020, earning the highest honor presented to a Rotaract club within the district.

Members of the club recently attended the District 7020 Rotaract Conference, held under the theme “NEXUS: The 360° Experience” from June 10–14, 2026, at the Ocean Coral Spring Resort in Trelawny, Jamaica. The conference brought together Rotaractors from across the Caribbean to celebrate service, leadership, fellowship, and professional development.
During the conference, members of the Rotaract Club of Grand Turk participated in a variety of professional development sessions focused on leadership, personal growth, and building a professional brand in preparation for the upcoming Rotaract year. The club also took part in impactful community service initiatives, including a period poverty project and an agricultural sustainability project involving the planting of trees.
The highlight of the conference was the Awards and Closing Ceremony, where the Rotaract Club of Grand Turk received numerous accolades recognizing its exceptional performance and impact throughout the 2025–2026 Rotaract year.

Guardian Award for Outstanding Commitment to Disaster Risk Management and Environmental Sustainability
Rotary-Rotaract Collaboration Award
High Achiever Recognition for placing among the top five performing clubs in District 7020
Diamond Award, the highest level of recognition for overall club performance
Club of the Year Award, recognizing the Rotaract Club of Grand Turk as the top-performing and most outstanding Rotaract club in District 7020 for the 2025–2026 Rotaract year
President Nia Jones expressed her pride in the club’s accomplishments and the dedication demonstrated by its members throughout the year.

This achievement belongs to our entire team, our supporters, and our community partners who believed in our vision and supported our initiatives throughout the year. To be recognized as the number one Rotaract club in District 7020 is both humbling and rewarding. We are proud to represent Grand Turk and the Turks and Caicos Islands on the District stage, and we remain committed to creating meaningful impact through service, leadership, and fellowship.”

District 7020 includes: Anguilla, Bahamas (excluding Grand Bahama), British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, French West Indies (St. Martin and St. Barthélemy), Haiti, Jamaica, Sint Maarten (Dutch Caribbean), Turks & Caicos, U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas, St. John, St. Croix).
