Grant’s Wheeland Offers Cheapest Regular Gas and Diesel

Grant’s gas station in Wheeland offered the most affordable regular gasoline and diesel on Providenciales, according to the Department of Trade, Industry and Fair Competition’s fuel report for August 4, 2026.

The station listed regular gasoline at $6.83 and diesel at $6.70, the lowest reported prices for both fuel types on the island.

Mervco had the second-lowest regular-gas price at $6.95 and the cheapest premium gasoline at $7.15. Express Center followed with regular gasoline at $6.97.

Long Bay Express listed regular gasoline at $7.27, premium at $7.67 and diesel at $7.55.

Across Providenciales, regular gasoline ranged from $6.83 at Grant’s Wheeland to $7.69 at SmithCo. Premium prices ranged from $7.15 at Mervco to $7.90 at SmithCo, while diesel ranged from $6.70 at Grant’s Wheeland to $7.99 at SmithCo and Caicos Oil Ltd.

On Grand Turk, W. Williams Gas Station offered the cheapest regular gasoline at $7.20. E. Dickenson Gas recorded the lowest available premium and diesel prices at $7.25 and $7.10, respectively.

Core Resources had North Caicos’ lowest regular-gas price at $7.76 and listed diesel at $8. In South Caicos, Seaview Marina and Fuel Market both posted regular gasoline at $8.35 and diesel at $8.50.

Salt Cay recorded the highest prices included in the report, with Dickenson Gas Station listing regular gasoline at $9 and diesel at $9.10.

The Department of Trade, Industry and Fair Competition, known as the DTIFC, is responsible for implementing and enforcing the Consumer Protection Ordinance. The legislation establishes provisions to protect consumers’ interests in relation to the supply of goods and services throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The department said its fuel report provides an overview of prices across the country and helps inform the public about changes in fuel costs and broader pricing trends.

By monitoring and publishing fuel prices, the DTIFC aims to provide consumers with accurate and timely information to help them better understand pricing in the local fuel market and make informed purchasing decisions.
