The police are reporting that a man was shot to death by unknown assailant(s) at Mary Jane Lane in Blue Hills, Providenciales on Saturday.
The police have not released the name of the man, neither did they divulge whether or not they are following any leads.
According to reports, at about 6pm, police received information that there was a shooting in the area, located off Millennium Highway. The police said upon their arrival, found what appeared to be the lifeless body of a man with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
“The victim was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor who attended the scene,” the information arm of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force said, indicating that a murder investigation has been opened.
“A murder investigation has been launched and the RTCIPF is asking anyone with informationrelating to this latest crime to call 911 or anonymously call crime stoppers on 1-800-8477 (Tips),” the police said.
