Momentum Builds as TCI Prepares to Host Concacaf Nations League
Momentum is building across the Turks and Caicos Islands in anticipation of the 2026–27 Concacaf Nations League, as the territory prepares to welcome two regional opponents for six international matches between September 23 and October 6.
The Turks and Caicos Islands men’s national team will compete against Montserrat and the British Virgin Islands in League C, Group A. All six matches in the group will be staged at the TCIFA National Academy in Providenciales, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. each match day.
TCI will open its campaign against Montserrat on Wednesday, September 23. The national team will return to action on Tuesday, September 29, when it faces the British Virgin Islands. The two neighbouring territories will meet again on Sunday, October 4, before TCI completes its group-stage schedule against Montserrat on Tuesday, October 6.

· Tuesday, September 29: British Virgin Islands vs Turks and Caicos Islands
· Thursday, October 1: British Virgin Islands vs Montserrat
· Sunday, October 4: Turks and Caicos Islands vs British Virgin Islands
· Tuesday, October 6: Montserrat vs Turks and Caicos Islands
The fixtures form part of the fifth edition of the Concacaf Nations League, which will run from September 2026 through March 2027. The regional competition provides national teams across North America, Central America and the Caribbean with regular competitive matches and opportunities for promotion between its three leagues.
League C features nine national teams divided into three groups of three. Group A consists of Montserrat, Turks and Caicos Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba and Anguilla will contest Group B, while Group C comprises Saint Martin, the Bahamas and the United States Virgin Islands.
Each League C team will play its two group opponents twice during the September–October international window, giving every country four matches. Games will be held at centralized venues, a format designed to reduce the travel demands placed on participating associations and support the efficient delivery of the competition.
The three League C group winners and the best second-place finisher will advance to the League C Championship. Those four teams will also earn promotion to League B for the next edition of the Nations League, according to Concacaf’s official competition format.
Hosting all six Group A fixtures will place the Turks and Caicos Islands at the centre of regional football for two weeks. It will also give local supporters several opportunities to watch international football and rally behind the national team on home soil.
As preparations intensify, organizers are appealing to members of the community to volunteer on match days. Assistance is needed in security, media, logistics and organization, concessions and sales, gate operations, and VIP/VVIP services.
People who can assist with only one fixture are also encouraged to volunteer. All volunteers must report to the TCIFA National Academy by 2 p.m., one hour before the scheduled kickoff.
