After winning the toss and batting first, KISHCO posted 141 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs at a steady run rate of 7.1.

Mario Smith anchored the innings with a composed 40 off 40 balls, striking four boundaries and two sixes. He shared early responsibility after Vinod Panikar fell cheaply for 2, trapped lbw by Robert Johnson.

Alson Byfield added 19 from 22 deliveries, while Winston Callam struggled to accelerate, making 7 off 23 balls before being bowled by Daleovaun Hardware. Just as the innings threatened to stall, Smijo Devassys injected late momentum with an unbeaten 18 off 16 balls, including four crisp boundaries.

However, the most significant contributor to KISHCO’s total was not a batsman, it was OMARS’ indiscipline with the ball. A massive 47 extras (23 wides, 12 leg byes, 9 byes, and 3 no-balls) inflated the total and kept KISHCO competitive.

Robert Johnson (2 for 29) and Ramauni Chang (2 for 22) were the standout bowlers, while Daleovaun Hardware delivered an economical spell of 1.3 overs for just 4 runs.

Chasing 142, OMARS wasted little time asserting control.

Although Daleovaun Hardware fell early for 10, the chase was defined by a commanding innings from Rohan Hines. The right-hander smashed an unbeaten 75 off 47 balls, peppering the boundary with nine fours and three sixes at a blistering strike rate of 159.6.

He found strong support from Xavier Scott, who made a rapid 15 off 9, and Garrett Campbell, who sealed the victory with an unbeaten 27 from 19 deliveries.

Omar’s raced to 144 for 2 in just 13 overs at an imposing run rate of 11.1.

KISHCO’s bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught. Vicas Nair endured a difficult spell, conceding 44 runs in three overs, while Smijo Devassys and Shankilkumar were also expensive. Mario Smith was the lone bright spot, claiming 1 for 14 from his three overs.

In the end, Omar’s superior batting firepower and relentless scoring rate made the difference, comfortably overhauling the target with seven overs to spare.

Result: Omar’s won by 8 wickets.
