The RDRC, made up of both local and international runners, is committed to promoting fitness as a way of life while bringing people of various backgrounds together.

This new Run of Nations event represents the first step toward the club’s vision of establishing the Turks and Caicos Islands’ first TCI International Marathon in the coming years.

RDRC President Leo Lightbourne is encouraging the entire community to take part.

He explained that for over a year, the Road Dogs Running Club has been building a family dedicated to fitness.

He said this inaugural “Run of Nations” is a powerful celebration of the incredible diversity within the Turks and Caicos and a major effort to promote health and an active lifestyle for everyone.

He urged the public to join the event, run together, and celebrate as one community.

The event will include both a run and walk segment.

The walk will begin at 5:00 a.m., followed by the run at 5:30 a.m.

The participation fee is set at $25 per person.

Attendees can expect fun activities suitable for all ages, lively post-race festivities, special awards, a commemorative medal, and live musical entertainment.

The RDRC is inviting individuals, families, and businesses from both near and far to support the event in meaningful ways.

Participants can register and take part in the run or walk, bringing along family, friends, and colleagues for added encouragement.

Potential sponsors are encouraged to reach out to the RDRC to explore long-term partnership opportunities and avenues for increased brand visibility.

Community members may also volunteer their time and effort, which the club considers essential to delivering a world-class experience.

Registration for the Run of Nations is now open.
