The following is a statement from the former President and CEO of Pelican Energy (formerly Fortis) on her departure from the energy company.

Two Decades of Service, Leadership and Impact, with Gratitude

Today, as I conclude my tenure as President and CEO of Pelican Energy TCI (formerly FortisTCI), my heart is overflowing with gratitude for two incredible decades of learning, growth, and transformation.

What few may know is that my journey with the company began with my very first job out of high school as a cashier. I later rejoined the company

with a renewed drive to contribute and make a difference. The journey has been full of purpose and nothing short of extraordinary.

Electricity is the invisible force that sustains economies, drives innovation, and defines the rhythm of human advancement. Over the last two decades, I am humbled to have played an active role in transforming the energy sector of the Turks and Caicos Islands to support our nation’s holistic development and progress.

I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the most talented, innovative, and dedicated professionals. Together, we built the

utility on a foundation of operational excellence, a strong safety culture, people-centered leadership, unwavering community investment, and a deep commitment to service excellence. These pillars have produced industry-leading performances to consistently deliver safe, reliable, and resilient energy to homes, businesses and communities across the Turks and Caicos Islands.

I am equally grateful to every stakeholder, industry partner, and the wider business community for your trust, engagement, and collaboration over the years. Through diligence and shared purpose, we addressed common goals and met the evolving energy needs of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

As the first local and female President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Pelican Energy TCI (formerly FortisTCI) will always be

a defining period in my career. I am sincerely thankful to every colleague, leader, and mentor who have challenged me, trusted me, and helped shape my leadership journey. The standards, values, lessons, and relationships built during this time will remain with me always. To my family and friends, you have been my grounding force throughout this journey, and I am deeply grateful for your support.

As I celebrate the culmination of this incredible journey of purpose and impact, above all, I am thankful to God for his grace and guidance. I am filled with optimism for the opportunities and

possibilities that lie ahead.
