TCI Complaints Commissioner Office Launches  Enhanced Website

GARDINER: The relaunch of this new website reflects our commitment to fulfilling our mission and serving the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The Turks and Caicos Office of the Complaints Commissioner (Ombudsman) has revamped website, which went live on Tuesday, June 11th, at 12:00 pm.


Under the leadership of Hon. Rita Gardiner, OBE, the Ombudsman’s Office  serves as a government body that investigates complaints of maladministration against public authorities and institutions. It strives to improve the efficiency of public services while also educating individuals about their rights.


Speaking on the updated website, Honorable Gardiner said, “Our mission is to investigate complaints, enhance services for our community, educate individuals about their rights, and provide fair and impartial assistance.” she said.

 She added: “The relaunch of this new websitenreflects our commitment to fulfilling our mission and serving the people of the Turks andnCaicos Islands. This platform will empower individuals to voice their concerns and contribute to more accountable and responsive governance.”


The newly revamped website marks a significant milestone for the organization, and willelevate accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in managing public complaints. It will also feature user-friendly interfaces while streamlining the complaint submission processes and providing valuable resources for both complainants and stakeholders.


"We are set to launch the refreshed website at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11th. This platform will play a crucial role in fostering accountability and enhancing the quality of service offered by our office. We encourage the public to visit the website at https://gov.tc/ombudsman as well as our social media channels. We invite everyone to share their feedback and make use of these services to uphold transparency and integrity in our community," Gardiner stated.


The website will include details on the organization and its mission to investigate complaints, improve community services, educate individuals on their rights, and offer fair assistance. It will also provide access to their annual report, year-in-review, and animated videos explaining their services along with contact information.
