TCI Face-Off With USV In Final Home Game Group Stage Match

Junior Paul (#17), the Turks and Caicos Islands leading goal-scorer in the Concacaf Nations League, gets pass his attacker in a group game against Bonaire. TCI lost that game 1-4.

Turks and Caicos Islands will match skills with the US Virgin Islands on Saturday, March 25, at 3:30pm. in the final Concacaf Nations League home home game game group fixture at the TCI Academy Field, Venetian Road in Providenciales.


The Turks and Caicos, who are assembled in Group A with Leaders Bonaire, Sint Maarten, and the United States Virgin Islands are at the bottom of the table with three points, having won just one game from their four outings.


They will go up against a US Virgin Islands team, who are on four points, winning one, drawing one and losing two.


Defeating the US Virgin Islands will see the TCI leapfrogging that country in the standings, and could also possibly land in second place on the table in the event Bonaire, on nine points, playing away to Sint Maarten - on five points – defeating the home team.


The Turks and Caicos Islands will once again, be depending on Junior Paul, the leading goalscorer for the TCI in the competition with three goals, and also veteran and captain Billy Forbes, who have netted two goals and tied for leading assists with Raymond Burey on two assists. Pendieno Brooks between the sticks, will also be heavily depended on, so do Makenson Cadet, Hency Gédéon, Karl Shand, who have scored one goal in the competition so far.


The public is invited to come out and support the local team, so as to further boost their confidence as they go into the final match of that round.
