Temporary Partial Closure of Bight Park for Upgrade Works

The Department of Environment and Coastal Resources (DECR) wishes to advise the public that the western section of the Bight Park, Providenciales, will be temporarily cordoned off to facilitate civil works from Monday, 27th July to Sunday, 23rd August 2026.

To ensure visitor safety during construction, public access to the western portion of the Bight Park will be strictly prohibited. However, general park access via the main entrance gate will remain open, and visitors may continue to enjoy the unaffected areas of the park during regular operating hours (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily).

Please note that these works form part of a broader refurbishment initiative aimed at enhancing the Bight Park and overall visitor experience.

The Department apologises for any inconvenience this temporary restriction may cause and sincerely appreciates the public’s cooperation. Further project updates will be shared as works progress as part of our commitment to providing a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for all.
