Two Charged in Blue Hills Over Firearm Offences; Murder Threat Alleged

Two individuals have been charged following a targeted police operation in Blue Hills, according to the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.

Detectives from the Serious Crime Unit carried out the operation, which resulted in charges against a 34-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman, both of the Blue Hills community.

George Andre Lacroy Seymour was formally charged on April 4 with multiple offences, including sending letters threatening to murder, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, and assault on a police officer.

In a related development, Lamia Sierra Abigail Brown, who resides at the same address, was charged and cautioned for possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.

Police confirmed that both individuals remain in custody and are expected to appear before the court later this week.

Authorities have not disclosed further details about the operation but say investigations are ongoing.
