Two Men Charged in Connection with Grand Turk Bar Shooting

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force has formally charged two young men in connection with a recent shooting incident that took place at a bar on Church Folly in Grand Turk.
Adrian Garland, 22, and B’Jhan Moxey, 19, are facing multiple serious charges related to the violent episode that occurred on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Grand Turk has brought the following charges against both individuals:
· Possession of a Firearm
· Possession of Ammunition
· Discharging a Firearm
· Discharging Ammunition
· Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life (Victim 1)
· Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Endanger Life (Victim 2)
· Wounding with Intent (Victim 1)
· Wounding with Intent (Victim 2)
Police confirm that Moxey was formally charged on Wednesday, May 7th. Garland was charged the day before, on Tuesday, May 6th, following a formal interview with investigators.
Both men appeared before the court earlier today and were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison, which is operated by the Department of Correction and Rehabilitation. They are expected to return to court for a Sufficiency Hearing scheduled for July 4, 2025, at the Supreme Court.
The charges stem from an altercation at a local bar which ended in gunfire, injuring two individuals. The police have not released further details about the victims, but investigations remain ongoing.
Authorities continue to appeal to the public for information that could aid in this or other violent crime investigations. Residents are strongly encouraged to come forward if they have any knowledge about the case or other criminal activity.
