Rainbands from the disturbance are moving over Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The system is likely to become a tropical storm later today or tonight and could begin to affect the Turks and Caicos Islands by Wednesday night. Residents in low-lying areas should also prepare for heavy rainfall of up to 4 inches. The next alert on potential tropical cyclone six will be issued at 6:00 pm.
