A 33-year-old man from Kew Town has been formally charged in connection with two separate burglary incidents in Providenciales, according to the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.

The Serious Crime Unit (SCU) confirmed that Wolbert Ferguson was charged on Tuesday, January 13, and Thursday, January 15, 2026, with two counts of burglary following separate reports made to police.
The first incident allegedly occurred in the Leeward Gates area, where a quantity of tools valued at approximately USD $3,000 was reported stolen. The second burglary is alleged to have taken place in Turtle Cove, where a quantity of cash was stolen.
Police say both matters were investigated by officers of the SCU, leading to the charges being laid.
