Academy Eagles FC produced a dominant display to defeat Flamingoes FC 4–1 in a Beaches Resort and Spa–sponsored Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) Premier League encounter on Wednesday night (15th January) at the TCIFA Field.

The Eagles asserted control early, opening the scoring in the 10th minute through Jean Innocent (#9), who capitalized on sustained pressure to put his side ahead. Academy Eagles continued to dictate the pace and doubled their advantage in the 35th minute when Mike Legeme (#12) found the net, sending his team into halftime with a comfortable 2–0 lead.
Flamingoes FC showed greater intent after the break and reduced the deficit in the 67th minute courtesy of Matha Aldair (#23), briefly lifting hopes of a comeback. However, those hopes were quickly dashed as Legeme struck again just a minute later, completing his brace in the 68th minute to restore Academy Eagles’ two-goal cushion.
As Flamingoes pushed forward, gaps opened defensively, and Academy Eagles took full advantage. Wepsdel Saintlus (#7) sealed the emphatic victory with a well-taken goal in the 84th minute.

Despite the loss, Flamingoes goalkeeper Migueron Calixte (#30) delivered an outstanding performance between the posts and was named Flamingoes FC MVP, keeping the scoreline from becoming more lopsided with a series of impressive saves.
Disciplinary issues plagued Flamingoes FC, as Sergo Victo (#7) was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the 90th minute, having earlier been cautioned in the 38th minute. Jocelyn Berradin (#24) picked up a yellow card in the 80th minute, while Head Coach Leo Rosny was also cautioned in the 59th minute. For Academy Eagles FC, Hill Gedeon (#23) received a yellow card in the 63rd minute.
Jean Innocent (#9) was named Academy Eagles FC MVP following a commanding all-around performance that set the tone for the match.
The TCIFA Premier League fixture was overseen by Match Commissioner Tevynn Lewis.
With the convincing win, Academy Eagles FC continue their strong push in the Beaches Resort and Spa–sponsored TCIFA Premier League, while Flamingoes FC will look to regroup ahead of their next league outing.
