Appeals Process For The Cruise Business Assistance Programme

The Turks and Caicos Islands Government on 15th November 2021, opened its application portal to accept online submissions from eligible Grand Turk Businesses involved in the Cruise- Tourism Sector; many of whom were impacted by the economic fallout emanating from the COVID-19 pandemic. All outstanding documents were to be submitted by Monday 13th December at 11.59 A.M.

The Turks and Caicos Islands Government Cruise Business Assistance Programme is now closed. However, Applicants who would have submitted an application under the programme and would like to appeal the decision taken in regards to their application can lodge their appeals to tcicruisegrant@gov.tc.

The deadline for the submission of appeals for the cruise business assistance Programme is 14 days after the notice of the decline was first issued. NO appeals for review of declined applications will be accepted after 11:59 P.M on Tuesday January 4th, 2022.

Applicants are reminded that:

1. The application for review shall be made by the original applicant for the grant;

2. Issues related to the amounts awarded, missed application deadline, the application criteria or application procedure will not be considered for review;

3. All applications for review must be submitted in writing to the email address tcicruisegrant@gov.tc and shall be limited to the reasons given in the notice informing the applicant that his/her application was declined;

4. Applicants have fourteen days from the notice of the declined application to apply for a review of their application by submitting—

(a) New information with the supporting documents to support their claim for the review;


(b) Any other relevant documents to support the claim for a review having regard to the reasons why the application was declined.
