Haiti gave their World Cup campaign a huge boost when they defeated the Turks and Caicos Islands 10-0 in Providenciales on Saturday. The youthful Turks and Caicos Team were hoping to salvage their sputtering campaign, but always knew it was a hard task against one of the Caribbean’s most powerful sides. The Turks and Caicos Islands matched skills with, what seemed to be a patient Haitian team, but went behind midway the first half. They then allowed four more goals to end the half 5-0. Another five goals were scored in the second half to end match 10-0 in favor of the French-speaking nation. The following are highlights from the match.
