Experience Turks and Caicos Promotes Destination with JetBlue Vacations

As Experience Turks and Caicos continues to engage travel advisors across the United States to drive increased bookings to the destination, the team was pleased to promote the Turks and Caicos Islands at two dedicated jetBlue Vacations training sessions earlier this month.

The destination trainings were held on November 5th in Salt Lake City, Utah, and November 13th at the jetBlue University campus in Orlando, Florida. Experience Turks and Caicos’ Public Relations Manager, Laura Dowrich, represented the destination alongside hotel partners Seven Stars Resort, Beach Enclave, Royal West Indies, Beaches, and the Waterloo Collection.

Across both cities, approximately 100 travel advisors and customer service representatives participated in the sessions. Experience Turks and Caicos delivered an overview of the destination, highlighting its multi-island appeal and the diverse experiences available beyond Providenciales—from diving, whale watching and bone-fishing to pickleball and other niche activities. Each training day consisted of three rotating sessions to allow advisors an engaging, in-depth learning experience.

“Engaging the people who sell the destination is a critical part of our marketing strategy,” said Mr. Paul Pennicook, Interim CEO Consultant of Experience Turks and Caicos. “JetBlue Vacations works with hundreds of travel advisors across the U.S as well as the loyalty members of both JetBlue  and United Airlines, and remains a valued partner of the Turks and Caicos Islands. We were pleased to support their training efforts and grateful to our hotel partners who showcased the strength of our accommodation product.”

Reflecting on the sessions, Ms. Dowrich noted, “Working alongside our hotel partners to promote the Turks and Caicos Islands was energising. While many advisors have been selling the destination—and some have even visited—many are still primarily familiar with Providenciales. This made the training an ideal opportunity to introduce our sister islands and highlight the wealth of experiences they can confidently recommend to clients.”

Following the training sessions, 10 jetBlue Vacations advisors travelled to the Turks and Caicos Islands for site inspections at partner properties, further strengthening their firsthand knowledge of the destination.
